News for winter season 2025/26:
- Casa Norvegia
Once again this winter, the Norwegian men's national alpine ski team, known as the ‘Attacking Vikings’, have chosen Paganella as their European training base to prepare for the World Cup and the Milan-Cortina Olympics. The Olimpionica 2 black slope, always perfectly groomed, hosts the athletes during their pre-Olympic training periods. The big news of this season is the opening of Casa Norvegia at the Dosson mountain hut. The house, created in collaboration with the Norwegian federation, is the operational headquarters for managers and sponsors, is a space designed for exchanges, events, tastings and gastronomic fusion between Norwegian and Trentino cuisine. There are fusion menus combining Italian and Norwegian dishes based on salmon and halibut, considered the best fish in Norway. Casa Norvegia is a space entirely dedicated to the Norwegian national team and an opportunity for Paganella skiers and athletes to meet and share pleasant moments of rest between runs. The room has been decorated by Trentino Marketing with images of the athletes and the local area. - Replacement of the two-seater Meriz chairlift with a new 4-seater fixed-grip chairlift
The new Doppelmayr lift, which will serve the blue Meriz slope and the toboggan run, will have an alignment carpet and a locking bar system, as well as a special hook for the transportation of sleds. The track of the new lift will follow the existing one. - New photovoltaic system at the Meriz mountain hut
Starting from next winter, the Meriz mountain hut will install a new photovoltaic panel system, a concrete step taken by the ski area mountain huts towards sustainable energy production. In the ski area, which has decided to invest in photovoltaics, panels have already been installed in different strategic spots: on the roofs of some cable cars, mountain huts and administrative offices of the lift companies. - New rental point at the 2001 ski depot
