Since 2011, the Norway Men's Alpine Ski Team has chosen Paganella as its European training base to prepare for many successful World Championships and Olympic Games.
Before Norway, Paganella was the training base for the US national ski team of Bode Miller (from 2006 to 2011); Paganella’s Olimpionica II piste has proudly hosted many of the greats of world skiing.
After having welcomed big names such as Aksel Lund Svindal and Kjetil Jansrud, for the 2022/2023 season Paganella Ski will open its doors to the following athletes:
- Aleksander Aamodt Kilde
- Lucas Braathen
- Sebastian Johann Foss Solevaag
- Atle Lie Mcgrath
- Henrik Kristoffersen
- Rasmus Windingstad
- Timon Haugan
- Fabian Wilkens Solheim
- Leif Kristian Nestvold Haugen
- Adrian Smiseth Sejersted
- Alexander Steen Olsen
- Henrik Roea
Many of these athletes have already achieved great success in the Alpine skiing World Cup, the recent World Championships in Cortina d’Ampezzo and at the Winter Olympic games.
The athletes of the Norwegian men’s national team, also known as the “Attacking Vikings”, love training on Paganella, particularly appreciating the well-prepared pistes, the helpfulness of the organisers, the hospitality and of course the fine Italian food! This is why the skiers can often be seen here in summer too, spending a few days in Trentino using the gym, trail running and mountain biking on the slopes of Paganella.
