News for winter season 2026/27:
1. "Specchio del Brenta": new snowmaking storage lake
A new water storage lake has been constructed at the top of Paganella, near the Olimpionica 3 ski slope, and it will come into operation for the 2026/2027 winter season. The new artificial lake will bring a number of benefits for both tourism and the local area.
What will the new lake be used for?
- More efficient snowmaking: thanks to its high-altitude location, the lake will allow the production of artificial snow in a easier, faster and more efficient way during cold weather periods.
- Improved water management: the new lake will replenish the other water reservoirs located further down, such as the one at Malga Terlaga, at any time and without the need to activate the pumping systems.
- More attractiveness in summer: the lake will be a new point of interest in summer making the area even more attractive
- Resource for all: the water collected will also be used for public interest reasons (e.g. in case of emergencies or for mountain pastures).

3.Funivie Valle Bianca has officially been granted a new classification for the GAGGIA (S) run by the relevant departments of the Autonomous Province of Trento; it is now classified as a blue run.
This is the return run which, starting from Prati di Gaggia (1,333 m), takes you down to the village of Andalo. Thanks to its width of 40 metres and a vertical drop of 303 metres, the run offers a gentle, gradual descent.
The blu slopes are ideal for beginners who want to get to grips with the snow in complete safety, as well as the perfect terrain for ski lessons.
4. PAGANELLA FUNSIDE
Paganella Ski has always been known for fun on the slopes, but from this season, the range of snow-based activities on offer is set to become even more varied and accessible to everyone. Introducing Paganella Funside, the project that sets the freestyle areas apart.
Paganella Funside covers two completely renewed areas, designed for two different experiences yet united by the same desire to have fun in the snow:
• Funslope Andalo (Andalo slope – Dosson area): The ideal starting point for families, children and beginners. Here, in complete safety, you can have fun on simple features and a themed track, perfect for taking your first steps into the world of freestyle.
• Fai Snowpark (Fai della Paganella slope – Meriz area): The ideal spot for those who are already comfortable on the snow and want to explore freestyle more fully, whilst remaining accessible to beginners. Here, the features are more numerous and varied, organised into a progressive track: you start with the easiest lines and, step by step, work your way up to the more challenging ones, at your own speed. The area is served directly by the Meriz chairlift.
Whether you’re stepping onto a snowboard or skis for the first time, or want to take your skills to the next level, Paganella Funside is the perfect place to discover the most dynamic and creative side of the mountains
