Warning: anyone using the slopes for skiing must be covered by a valid public liability insurance policy for damage or injury caused to third parties (article 30 of Legislative Decree 40/2021). If you do not already have insurance, the policy can be purchased together with your ski pass.
In the event of an injury on the ski slopes, call 112 and wait for the ‘Soccorso Piste’ responders to arrive in order for your insurance to be valid. Within 10 days, an official report of the incident must be made by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org reporting the accident, with a photo of your ski pass, receipt from Soccorso Piste and any medical documentation.
Daily insurance policy
You can purchase the AIG sNOwPROBLEM insurance policy together with your ski pass which offers the following injury coverage:
- Third-party liability for damage to persons or property
- Legal protection
- Reimbursement of first aid medical costs
- Reimbursement on unused ski passes, ski/snowboard lessons and equipment hire - only in the event of injury and with a ski pass valid for 3 or more days
The insurance policy costs €3 per person per day. The policy is personal and strictly linked to the ski pass. It cannot be purchased for pedestrian return (or single) tickets for non-skiers. For weekly points cards, the insurance policy costs €5 and covers the holder for 6 days.
Seasonal/annual ski pass insurance policy
Seasonal and annual ski passes can be purchased with an insurance policy for €40.
The insurance policy is valid for the same period of time as the ski pass and covers multiple sports.
