In winter you can set your desired destination so that it tells you which lifts and slopes to take to get to your destination, also estimating your arrival time.
In summer, it helps you to orientate yourself for your bike tours or walks in the mountains.
The Mountain Maps app offers the following services:

- Search for places and points of interest
- Calculation of the route best suited to your needs (avoiding routes not suited to your abilities)
- Optimised route calculation considering lift timetables and possible temporary closures
- 'Around me' function: consult and reach any nearby points of interest
